Singing Rooster Coffee, (Haitian Mountain Bleu Coffee) comes from a single origin and is natural. Put simply, Haitian farmers can’t afford chemicals; they use organic methods like composting and shade-grown techniques. Our Haitian Mountain Blue coffee comes from the same type of coffee plant & is grown in a similar region as the wildly successful Jamaican Blue bean - but at a fraction of the price. In Miami, Jamaican blue sells for as much as $49 a pound. Singing Rooster's Haitian Blue sells for less than $12 a pound. $5.50 a bag goes back to Haiti.
Our RARE Mountain Bleu roast is rich, nutty & SMOOTH; cool nights at high altitudes produce gentle & FLAVORFUL coffees! Haitian bleu coffee growers hand pick coffee cherries; wet processing techniques yield a unique blue-green colored bean. We ship these BEAUTIFUL, raw beans to the U.S. for roasting in small batches to provide FRESH and EXCELLENT tasting coffee that is perfectly balanced.

- Sponsor a child in St. Marc’s School. $200 for a year. ($.55 a day, less than a cup of coffee or $3.85 a week, less than an average “drive thru” meal) It can be paid annually, semi-annually, monthly, or quarterly. You will be partnered with a special new friend which will bring a smile of joy to that child, a student at St. Marc’s, and help insure his or her continuing quality education.
- Make a donation towards the ongoing expenses of operating he Trade School which currently has 160 adult students who are learning different skills in construction.
- Purchase the “Singing Rooster” Haitian Coffee. Of the $9 per 12 oz. bag that you pay, $5.50 goes back to Haiti and $3.00 of it goes directly to our partners, St. Marc’s School in Jeannette.
- Give towards the community’s agricultural coop, by donating toward seeds and/or farm equipment.
